On January 20th, 2024, Murat Buyuran hosted the first TurkNet Meet-Up inspired by attorney Eliezer Kapuya. This event launched the first nonprofit business networking group for Turkic business owners in California.

There are no membership fees and the goal is simple: to strengthen the Turkic business community in the United States.

We work to understand each other’s business goals, support one another, and create business referrals.

TurkNet Biz has grown to hundreds of members, and continues to rise with every meet-up. All are Turkic business owners from many different industries. Our members include engineers, doctors, IT professionals, real estate experts, lawyers and attorneys, musicians, translation agencies, accountants and CPAs, manufacturers, contractors, travel agencies, investment consultants, and more.

Murat Buyuran has organized most of the events as the president. Burju Aslı Kayıran has successfully focused on growing the community as the chief operating officer (COO). Ömer Çelik has provided major support as the chief technology officer (CTO). Anar Babazade has brought together many members from across the Turkic world and has contributed to the TurkLeap project. Nazım Aslan has welcomed many new members and helped facilitate events as the chief development officer (CDO)

All of them volunteer their time and work hard to make TurkNet Meet-Ups a successful organization. We feel even more committed when we hear members share their happiness, receiving referrals, making new friends, and even forming partnerships through TurkNet Meet-Ups.
